Employee Spotlight: Jennifer Greenberg

At Weinberg Community, creating meaningful connections and enriching daily life is at the heart of what we do, and Jennifer Greenberg brings that mission to life every day.

As our Manager of Life Enrichment, Jennifer develops engaging programs and experiences that promote wellness, social connection, lifelong learning, and purpose for residents. With warmth, creativity, and genuine compassion, she works closely with residents, families, and team members to ensure opportunities reflect each person's unique interests, talents, and goals.

For Jennifer, life enrichment is about much more than activities. It's about creating moments of joy, preserving dignity, encouraging personal growth, and helping every resident feel valued and connected.

A lifelong North Shore resident who was born and raised in Highland Park, Jennifer brings a deep sense of community and belonging to her role. She is also proud of her two children, Dr. Henry Greenberg and her daughter, Hannah, who lives in Tel Aviv.

Jennifer shares that one of the most rewarding parts of her job is being part of a creative and compassionate team that helps make Weinberg Community a vibrant and welcoming place to call home.

The Memory Café, a welcoming gathering for individuals experiencing memory loss and their care partners. Held on the first Wednesday of each month at the Deerfield Public Library, each session features a different theme or activity designed to encourage conversation, connection, and socialization in a supportive environment.

Last week, we were delighted to welcome Congressman Brad Schneider to our community. Residents and staff appreciated the opportunity to meet with him and discuss issues that matter to older adults, including Social Security, Medicare, and current events in Washington.
