If you've been wearing your hearing aids every day this summer, there's a good chance they've picked up more than just sound. Sweat, earwax, humidity and everyday wear can all build up over time and quietly chip away at how well your devices perform. The good news is that a little regular maintenance goes a long way.

Here's what you can do at home:

🧼 Wipe down your hearing aids daily with a soft, dry cloth
🧼 Use a wax pick or brush to gently clear the microphone and receiver ports
🧼 Store them overnight in a dry case or dehumidifier to draw out moisture
🧼 Keep them away from the humidity of the bathroom

And here's when to bring them to us:

🔧 You notice a change in sound quality or volume
🔧 Feedback or whistling that wasn't there before
🔧 Visible buildup that you can't clear at home
🔧 It's been six months or more since your last professional cleaning
