Care, closer to you. 💙

North Walton Doctors Hospital is excited to welcome our new 45-foot mobile CT coach, an important step toward expanding access to diagnostic imaging for patients and communities across our region.

Funded through an appropriation supporting a lung cancer screening initiative, the mobile CT coach will also strengthen our broader diagnostic imaging capabilities. We plan to deploy the coach throughout the region later this year as operational details are finalized.

We are grateful to Senator Jay Trumbull and Governor Ron DeSantis for helping secure funding for this important resource and to everyone who has helped bring this vision closer to reality. Stay tuned as we share more information about services, eligibility and scheduling in the months ahead.

Emergency Nurses Week is a special opportunity to recognize the dedicated nurses who serve on the front lines of emergency care every day.

In the days surrounding Hurricane Isaias, our ER nurses showed extraordinary resilience, compassion and commitment, providing around-the-clock care for patients while facing many of the same challenges as the community they serve. Their steady presence helped ensure that critical care remained available when it was needed most.

Whether responding during severe weather, treating unexpected injuries, or providing comfort during difficult moments, our nurses bring skill, strength and heart to every shift.
