Join us Thursday, September 24 for a free community presentation with dermatologist Dr. Martin Harris.

He’ll cover common skin changes, spots, bumps and growths, what you can monitor at home, warning signs to watch for, and when it’s time to see a dermatologist.

Earlier this summer, community members gathered with local artist Jocelyn Catterson to help paint Tend to What Matters—a mural celebrating the farmers and ranchers who help our communities thrive.

One of the identical murals has found its permanent home at the Mercantile in Monte Vista, while the other will soon be installed at the Ruby Rose in Hooper.

If you’ve driven by the Wellness Center lately, you’ve probably noticed things are looking a little different!

Our water-wise landscaping project is taking shape, and we couldn’t be happier with the transformation. What started as a plan to create a more beautiful, sustainable landscape is becoming a welcoming outdoor space that reflects the environment we call home.

But the best part has been seeing our community help bring it to life.

A huge thank you to everyone who has rolled up their sleeves, hauled, planted, dug, watered, planned and pitched in along the way. This project has truly been a community effort, and we’re grateful to every person who has helped make the Wellness Center grounds more beautiful.
