🎀 The ribbon is pink. The message is for everyone.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but cancer has touched the lives of so many of us in one way or another.

The fighters. The survivors. The caregivers. The families. And those we hold close in our hearts and memories.

Different cancers may have different ribbons, but behind every ribbon is someone deeply loved.

So while our windows are pink this October, our hearts are with everyone whose life has been touched by cancer. 🎗️❤️

Some of us remember it. Some will only read about it. None of us should ever forget it.

Twenty-five years ago, September 11, 2001 became a day forever etched into American history.

For those who lived it, 9/11 is more than a date. Many of us can still remember where we were when we heard the news, the images we saw, the people we called, and the feeling that the world had suddenly changed.

For a growing generation of children, September 11th will be something they encounter in a textbook.

That is why remembrance matters.

This year, our monthly window art Galo Eye Care Centers • Del Rio is dedicated to those we lost, the heroes who answered the call, the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice, and the families who have carried their memories for 25 years.

One generation lived it.
Another generation will learn about it.
It is up to all of us to make sure it is never forgotten.

A special thank you to Main Street Arte for bringing this tribute to life on our windows and helping us commemorate this important anniversary.

We’re excited to see another locally owned healthcare business investing in Del Rio and helping expand access to important diagnostic and wellness services. From laboratory testing and drug screening to DNA testing, wellness services, and CPR training, they’re bringing valuable resources to our community.

At Galo Eye Care Centers • Del Rio, we believe that when local businesses support one another, our entire community benefits. We wish the Field Diagnostics team continued success in their new location and look forward to being neighbors for many years to come.
