For students, families, and educators, the first few weeks of school can bring academic pressure, busy schedules, social challenges, and stress. Taking care of our mental health and learning healthy ways to cope can make a difference.

This week, we encourage our community to:

💬 Check in with someone and ask how they’re really doing
🧠 Practice healthy ways to manage stress
🤝 Stay connected to supportive friends, family, and trusted adults
🚫 Avoid turning to drugs or alcohol as a way to cope with pressure or emotions
💛 Reach out for help before challenges become overwhelming

As summer comes to an end and a new school year approaches, many students and families are preparing for backpacks, school supplies, and new routines. But let’s not forget one of the most important back-to-school essentials: our mental health.

A new school year can bring excitement, but it can also bring stress, anxiety, and uncertainty. Taking care of our emotional well-being helps us make healthy choices and builds resilience during times of change.

This week, we encourage families to:
