🎉 100 Surgeries in Just 6 Months! 🤖

VVRMC is celebrating an exciting milestone with our da Vinci 5 Surgical System! In just six months, our surgical team has completed 100 robotic-assisted surgeries, including hernia repairs, hysterectomies, hiatal hernia repairs, and colon surgeries.

This advanced technology allows for minimally invasive procedures that may mean smaller incisions, less pain, and shorter recovery times, helping patients get back to doing what they love sooner! 💙

💕 Walking together for a cause! 💕

Del Rio Nursing Home and Rehabilitation hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness Walkathon, bringing residents, families, and community members together in support of breast cancer awareness. 💗

Guest speaker Maria Garcia shared her personal journey with breast cancer, reminding everyone of the importance of hope, strength, and support. Attendees joined residents and their families for a walk around the facility, showing that no one fights alone! 🎀

💗 During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, VVRMC extends heartfelt thanks to the City of Del Rio Government for its generous donation to the Mary L. Pierce HOPE Cancer Resource Room. This support goes a long way in helping provide practical assistance to patients, including gas cards to help with travel to appointments and treatment.

We’re also grateful to our Cancer Navigator, Beverly Hernandez, for guiding and supporting patients throughout their cancer journey. Your generosity helps bring comfort, care, and hope to our community.🏥
