Delfina Gomez, RN is truly the kind of teammate every unit hopes to have. She is always willing to jump in and help with whatever is needed, whether it’s translating, starting a hard IV, offering a second opinion, assisting with a Foley placement, helping with a brief change, or repositioning a patient when the unit is stretched thin.
On top of carrying all of her responsibilities as charge nurse, Delfina leads with compassion, calmness, and confidence. Her bedside manner is exceptional, and patients and family members consistently share positive feedback about the care and reassurance she provides. She is an excellent leader, a talented mentor, and the steady voice of reason when things get difficult.
