The Traveling Teaching Team, alongside Central Florida Eye Specialists oculoplastic surgeon Dr. Ryan Scruggs, his daughter Emma, and the dedicated surgical team from Heathrow Surgery Center, recently volunteered their time, expertise, and compassion in Comayagua, Honduras.

The impact of global eye care extends far beyond performing surgeries. Lasting change is created by sharing knowledge, mentoring future providers, and collaboration across specialties. This week was a powerful example of how education and service come together to improve lives and strengthen communities.
