We are passionate about making our center The Right Choice for you or your loved one. We have been serving Walworth, Rock, Racine, and Kenosha counties and northern Illinois since 1970. We are proud, active members of the Delavan-Delavan Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Student Volunteers program. We recently were awarded a 2020 Silver – Achievement in Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The Award Program has three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. This award recognizes our commitment to the pursuit of quality and our focus on developing systems and protocols that meet our residents’ needs and provide consistent quality care.

We had a wonderful Father's Day filled with delicious food and a fun Bingo session. For lunch, the residents chose BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, a vegetable pasta salad marinated in Italian dressing, a cottage cheese and fresh fruit salad, and miniature cheesecakes for dessert. To complement the meal, we served Dad's Old Fashioned Root B**r. The dining room and room trays were beautifully set with festive napkins, plates, and silverware. Each gentleman received a thoughtful gift from the Dietary Department, which included a handkerchief, flashlight, pen, writing pad, and a treat. Wishing everyone a Happy Father's Day from all of us!

Wednesday featured a delightful photo booth with scenic views and an ice cream social gathering. Both residents and staff engaged in funny photos against a lovely spring backdrop.

We kicked off the day with karaoke and refreshing punch. All the residents joined in, clapping and tapping their feet to the rhythm of the live music. Some even mustered the courage to sing a song on the microphone.

More fun during Nursing Home Week at Delavan. We had a great time crafting and were thrilled to decorate rocks for our indoor 'Kindness Rocks' garden. The possibilities were endless. Residents had a blast using acrylic markers to create and color their unique rocks.

Here's another look at Nursing Home Week at Delavan. On Monday, we enjoyed some Dunkin' donuts coffee and treats during our monthly birthday bash, complete with live music. In the afternoon, we had a great time tie-dyeing shirts, hats, and socks. The residents really got to express their creativity and had a ton of fun!

We commenced Nursing Home week with a unique Mother's Day event. We savored mimosas and participated in a session of Bingo.
The kitchen offered a scrumptious menu featuring Beef Pot Roast, Cheesy Potato Bake, Green Beans & Craisins, Cheddar Biscuit, Sparkling Juice, and Cheesecake.
Each woman was also presented with a special gift - a lovely card, lip gloss, lotion, and a nail file.

We are thrilled to have strong connections with our surrounding community. Julieta Coronado came to the facility with a group of children for a service project. They engaged in a game of Bingo with our residents. This group is from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Elkhorn. We are very thankful for these relationships and the support from our community.

Our Dietary Department prepared an exceptional Easter meal for the residents.

The menu included cranberry glazed ham, sweet potato souffle, candied green beans, cheddar biscuits, peeps fruit salad, swirl cheesecake, and Easter punch.

Everyone enjoyed the meal, which was deemed outstanding.

This week, residents enjoyed a lively Mardi Gras celebration! They indulged in delicious paczkis, crafted colorful masks, and participated in entertaining games.
