Investing in Better Dementia Care

Last week, several members of our leadership team and key staff proudly completed the training to become Certified Dementia Practitioners (CDPs).

At Deerfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, we believe that continuing education is one of the best investments we can make—not only in our team, but in the residents and families we serve every day. Dementia care is constantly evolving, and staying educated allows us to better understand the unique needs, behaviors, and challenges associated with dementia while providing compassionate, person-centered care.

We are incredibly proud of our team for their dedication to learning and their commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those entrusted to our care. Congratulations to everyone who earned this important certification!

Morning Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Join the caring team at Deerfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center! We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Dietary Aide who enjoys serving others and helping provide nutritious meals to our residents.

✨ What You’ll Do:
• Prepare and serve resident meals
• Assist with kitchen cleanup and sanitation
• Work as part of a supportive team
• Help create a positive dining experience for our residents

✅ Reliable attendance required
✅ Team player with a positive attitude
✅ Experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person!

A sweet surprise for our Director of Nursing! 💙🍼

Today we had the pleasure of celebrating our amazing Director of Nursing with a surprise baby shower! She was completely surprised, and it was such a special moment for our Deerfield family.

Thank you to everyone who helped shower her with love, diapers, wipes, and well wishes as she prepares to welcome her little one. We are so excited for this new chapter in her life and can’t wait to meet the newest addition to our Deerfield family!

Today at Deerfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, we’re celebrating the beautiful women who have filled our lives with love, wisdom, strength, and unforgettable memories.

Our gorgeous grandmas have worn many hats throughout their lives—mothers, caregivers, teachers, role models, and friends. Their stories inspire us, their smiles brighten our days, and their love continues to shape generations.
