It was a wonderful day at the Manor with our Memorial Day cookout for residents and staff, remembering those who paid the ultimate price and sacrifice so we could have days like this and the race too of course. It has taken a week and half of planning and getting all the items needed together for this day. A lot of time, money and trips to the store to make this all happen. I must say the residents enjoyed it and were very thankful and grateful. There was a lot of smiles, laughs and thank yous today! Thank you to my wonderful husband Rob for grilling all the burgers and hot dogs for us. Thank you to my cooks Mary and Terri and my laundry Tami for the help making and preparing food items. Thank you to my resident Donald for helping me decorate. Thank you to my aide Lisa for helping get everything set up tore down and cleaned up. It takes a village! Happy Memorial Day from our family to yours.

You provided a wonderful meal that you prepared for everyone with the yummy pulled pork, cheesy potatoes and mixed veggies. The residents enjoyed it so much as always. I am hiring and needing a Part-time Housekeeping/Aide for the 4pm-12 am shift. Yes it’s 13.00/hr but keep in mind it is part time with 48-56 Guaranteed hours every 2 weeks, plus time off every week. It is climate controlled, easy going and slow paced. This isn’t just housekeeping it’s aiding to the residents as well.

Thank you all who have donated to us lately. We appreciate the love and continued support of our residents. I don’t always get the names and pictures but some of them are the Lower Deer Creek Church, Presbyterian Church, Radnor church,Psi Otes sorority, American Legion Post 75 Delphi, Tri Kappa, individual donors, Carroll County Extension Homemakers club, 4-h Junior leaders, Delphi Vfw post 9383, Krista Watson, many churches, so many I know I have forgotten and I’m sorry. It’s so hard to keep up with it by myself. Just know your love and support means the world to all of us here at the Manor. Thank you all!

Thank you to all the churches, groups clubs and community members that bought presents did activities and showed the residents love this Christmas season. As my days are so very busy I am sorry I didn’t get personal thank yous out there to each one of you. To see the smile on their faces was wonderful. Thank you for the continued love and support of the Manor, our residents and staff.!

I am really needing a cook! This person could just be someone who want some extra spending money but yet is retired or they can take on a bigger role! It will be a part time job! Come spread your gifts at the Manor for our wonderful residents! Have a heart and give yourself! You want to be a cooking star we would love that! Can be 6/1 or 2/6shift 3 days on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off which falls on every other weekend. There will also be opportunity for more hours covering for others. I need a daytime kitchen guru.
