Inside the county jail, gratitude is growing. 🤍

In one of our classes inside the county jail, participants are creating gratitude journals, a simple practice of noticing the good, even on hard days.

One participant, Latasha, wrote in hers this week:

“I'm grateful for Lifeline and that you come in here to do programming with us. I look forward to it.”

She gave us permission to share this, and filled another page and a half with what she's grateful for.

When people on the inside have a safe outlet to write down what's on their hearts instead of holding it in week after week, healing happens.

Thank you to the Sheriff & Lori for making it possible for Lifeline to be there every Monday & Thursday.

THANK YOU, FSSA! 💚

We are deeply honored that Lifeline has been chosen as a recipient of an Opioid Grant from FSSA (Family and Social Services Administration).

This funding is so much more than a grant - it's an investment in hope. It will allow us to continue supporting our youth in our local community with prevention efforts, and walk alongside those facing mental health challenges, addiction, and recovery.

Discouragement is part of this work. Anyone who tells you otherwise has not been doing it long enough.

But the story we tell ourselves in those moments makes all the difference. Not a forced, everything-is-fine story. An honest one. One that says this is hard AND I am still here. I have not figured this out yet AND I am still trying. I cannot control what just happened AND I can choose what I do next.

Let this be your reminder that discouragement is not defeat.

This evening, representatives from Drive Sober, INC met with K9 Deputy Michael Fincher (K9 Zefir) and K9 Deputy Drew Yoder (K9 Micky) to present a check to our donation fund.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Drive Sober of Carroll County for their generous contribution to our K9 program.

The third annual Helping Hands Recovery Festival was held Saturday, Sept. 5, at Riley Park in Delphi. Hosted by Carroll County Lifeline Connection, the event was designed to celebrate people recovering from health setbacks, raise awareness of available support programs and connect community members....

The food, the vendors, the music, the laughter, the tears, and the sweets.

A good time was had by all.

What a wonderful, successful day for our Helping Hands Recovery Festival! Yes, it was a little hot, but it was so worth it!
