Founded in 1960 by Dr. E. E. White, Vancrest was built on a simple belief: every person deserves high-quality care delivered with genuine compassion. As the senior population grew, so did the need for care that felt personal, supportive, and centered on the individual.
Today, that mission continues under the leadership of Dr. White's son, Mark White. While healthcare has changed over the decades, our commitment to people has remained the same.
As a family-owned and operated organization, we have the freedom to focus on what matters most: building relationships, making decisions with integrity, and creating environments where residents feel known, valued, and at home. Staying connected to our local communities allows us to care for each resident as a person, not a number.
Today, Vancrest provides assisted living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and home health services throughout western Ohio.
