Dear MAR AND SEA families!
The new school year starts in August, but we recommend scheduling your children’s physicals now. June and July are ideal months to avoid the last-minute rush😫.
It’s good to remember that school forms take approximately 48 hours to be ready, and some forms have an associated fee.
Additionally, due to Florida’s new SB 1070, student athletes will now need an electrocardiogram (EKG) as part of their evaluation.

As we approach the busy season for school, sports, and summer activities, it’s crucial to ensure your child’s physical exam is up to date.

Why it matters:
Schools, camps, and sports programs require physical forms for participation.
Keep in main that certain forms require the last pediatric appointment to be within the past 9 months. If your child’s visit was before that, you’ll need a new one.

Plan ahead:
Once completed, generating the required physical form typically takes up to 72 hours. Summer brings a high volume of requests, so booking early helps avoid last-minute stress.
