Three self-loving steps you can take right now.

1. Complete 5 rounds of deep breathing. Count in for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds. Repeat.

2. Set a timer for 5, 10 or 15 minutes, play your favorite upbeat music and pick one area to clean or organize. (Science proves decluttering reduces anxiety.)

3. Write down 5 activities you’d like to do and pick one to add to your calendar, plan and look forward to.

To every woman in the journey of motherhood — however that looks for you today.

To the moms celebrating with their kids around the table… soak it in.

To the moms whose children are far away, or whose arms ache with missing someone… you are seen.

To the women still waiting, still hoping, still trying… your heart for motherhood matters.

To those who have lost a child… your love doesn’t end. Neither does your identity as a mother.
