So many distractions now a days “Are your kids getting enough sleep “

Are your old-enough-to-drive teens getting enough sleep to safely drive themselves to school?

Teenagers need 8–10 hours of sleep each night, yet early school mornings, homework, sports, jobs, phones, and simply being teenagers can make that difficult.

Drowsy driving means slower reaction time, less attention, and poorer decision-making—and a sleepy teen behind the wheel can be dangerous to themselves and everyone sharing the road.

As parents, we may not be holding the steering wheel anymore, but we still hold an important key to their safety: helping protect their sleep.

Reintroducing a familiar face at Southwest Pediatric & Family Care 🤍

Venus has been part of our team for years, caring for women through so many different seasons of life. From adolescence, to womanhood, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond, she’s there through every transition.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner with a special focus on women’s health, she also cares for patients of all ages, making her someone the whole family can grow with. ✨
