THOMPSON TEAM TUESDAY | Morgan Billiot 💙

This Thompson Team Tuesday, we’re proud to spotlight Morgan Billiot, our Operations Manager, Funeral Director, and Embalmer, who has been part of the Thompson Team for 12 years!

Morgan lives in Springfield with her husband, Gavin, and their son, Silas. She’s also a proud big sister to Jessie and Avery. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her family, and starting a new book. 📚

Over the past 12 years, Morgan has become an invaluable part of our team. She is a natural leader, a trusted mentor, and someone her coworkers can count on. Her organization, professionalism, and compassionate approach to serving families make a difference every day. She leads by example and is always willing to share her knowledge and help others grow.

We are incredibly grateful for Morgan’s dedication, leadership, and the care she brings to the families we serve. Thank you, Morgan, for 12 wonderful years of being part of the Thompson Team! 🤍

THOMPSON TEAM TUESDAY | Sarah Dees 🤍

This Thompson Team Tuesday, we’re shining the spotlight on Sarah Dees, one of the warm and welcoming faces who helps make everyone feel at home at Thompson’s!

Sarah is originally from Albany and is now a resident of Roseland, where she lives with her husband, Gary Jr. Together, they have daughter Olivia, son Gary III, son-in-law Beau, and daughter-in-law Jalyn. Sarah is also a proud grandmother to Blakely, with a grandson, Oliver, on the way in January! Her family also includes four beloved four-legged friends: dogs, Boudreaux and Blaze and cats, CC and JayJay. 🐾

As one of our hostesses, Sarah brings a genuine warmth and kindness to our families and our team. She is always willing to lend a helping hand, and her friendly presence is truly appreciated by everyone who knows her.

Outside of Thompson’s, Sarah enjoys cooking and baking, antiquing and thrifting, fishing, and spending time with her family — especially her grandbaby, Blakely. She also loves trying out new restaurants and cheering on the LSU Tigers! 💜💛

We’re so grateful for Sarah and all the warmth she brings to the Thompson Team. We’re lucky to have her! 🤍

We are incredibly grateful for the families who trust us to walk alongside them during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Knowing that we were able to make a difficult time a little easier is what makes the work we do so meaningful. We are proud to serve our community with compassion, care and genuine dedication - and we never take that trust for granted.

Meet Amy Thompson

This Thompson Team Tuesday, we’re introducing you to Funeral Director and Embalmer, Amy Thompson! 🤍

Amy is a resident of Watson, where she lives with her husband, Chris, their two children, Dane and Lydia, and their two furry family members — beagle, Minnie and we**ie dog, Penny! 🐾

Amy is a member of the Denham Springs Kiwanis Club and proudly served as a Military Police Officer in the Army National Guard before joining the funeral service profession.

When she’s not serving families, Amy enjoys reading, swimming, gardening, going to the beach, and most of all, spending time with her family. She brings that same heart for service and community into everything she does here at Thompson’s.

We’re grateful to have Amy as part of our team and appreciate the compassion, dedication, and care she brings to the families we serve each day. 💙
