Who says car washes are just for cars? 🦈💦We turned wheelchair wash day into a full-on Shark Week adventure! Rolling through the bubbles, dodging the fins, and laughing until our stomachs hurt.😂 Proof that you never actually grow up—you just get cooler wheels! 🦽Age is truly just a state of mind when you have this much fun. 🌊🦽✨

We CHEF so hard that we had them compete for the Iron Chef title! 👩🏽‍🍳👨🏻‍🍳👨🏻‍🍳👩🏻‍🍳

Their challenge 🏆 was to create an elevated version of a comfort classic.

Each one was SUPER impressive in appearance AND flavor.

Residents and judges alike had a tough decision to make but our Iron Chef for this round goes to …. Chef Mia!!

Her hot honey 🍯 wings, Mac-n-cheese, and southern greens took the W!

CONGRATS!!!🎉

This was a fun way to keep all of our chefs thinking creatively about how to elevate the dining experience each day for our residents along with taking into consideration dishes they would actually enjoy and have a great nutritional balance.

It’s not an easy job they do and we are incredibly fortunate to have this culinary team!

Our residents aren't stuck inside all day. We enjoy walks, porch visits, gardening, and making memories outdoors whenever possible.

And while many communities staff to meet the minimum, Sage Oak is known for maintaining staffing ratios that are often above the norm, allowing us to spend more one-on-one time building relationships, creating meaningful moments, and providing exceptional care.
