Metatarsus adductus (MA) is a common congenital foot deformity where the front half of the foot turns inward toward the middle of the body, often giving it a "bean-shaped" appearance.
We helped this patient correct their metatarsus adductus as well as bunion deformity with the Lapiplasty and Adductoplasty procedures, reconstructing the whole midfoot to give this patient a significantly decrease in width of their foot and allowing the patient to wear shoes more comfortably with out rubbing and irritation.
