📄On paper, the advice sounds simple: introduce foods such as peanut and cooked egg early, usually around 6 months of age when a baby is ready for solid foods, and then keep those foods in the diet.
But real life is messier.
❓Parents ask me:
“How much do I give?”
“What if my baby gets a rash?”
“How often do I have to keep giving it?”
“What if we miss a week?”
“What if my baby has eczema?”
“What if she refuses to eat it?”
Those are not small questions. They may determine whether a family actually follows the recommendations.
