Our team was honored to provide continuing education for Denton ISD school counselors, impact counselors, social workers, relief counselors, and social services professionals.

Director of Business Development Noelle Carmen moderated an informative panel discussion featuring Anna Arwine, Associate Administrator; Rick Rayl, Hospital Pharmacist; and Rachel Elliott, RN and Assistant Director of Business Development.

Together, the panel explored self-harm among students, the underlying challenges that contribute to these behaviors, and the connection between self-harm and self-medication, particularly THC use.

Through education, open dialogue, and collaboration, we can better equip school professionals to recognize warning signs, understand the challenges students face, and connect them with appropriate support and resources.

At UBH Denton, we believe that strong community partnerships and education are essential to improving mental health outcomes for the next generation. We are grateful to Denton ISD for the opportunity to collaborate with the dedicated professionals who make a difference in students' lives every day.

Today’s visit with Canyon Creek Behavioral Health was a great success! We’re grateful to Tonee for stopping by, bringing delicious food for our team, and taking the time to educate us about Canyon Creek’s outstanding residential programs.

We appreciate the opportunity to learn more about the services available to support individuals and families in our community. Partnerships like these help us strengthen collaboration and ensure we can connect those we serve with the right resources and level of care.
