Meet John!

Raised in a military family, John is a graduate of Cameron University and Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He has a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer for over 40 years!

He joined our team at Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors in 2023 and was honored with the Ed. C. Smith Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding service to the community and his unwavering compassion.

He has two children, Sarah and Matt, and one granddaughter, Sydney. John is currently on the Board of Directors for Cremation Association of North America and President for the Texas Funeral Directors Association.
