🌿🍅 From Garden to Table at The Residence at Eden Green! 🥒🌱

We're excited to share that our raised garden beds are thriving!
This season, our residents and team are growing a variety of fresh vegetables and herbs, including tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, basil, parsley, cilantro, and more.
Today, we were able to harvest fresh basil and parsley straight from the garden and incorporate them into our meals for residents. There’s something special about enjoying ingredients that were picked just moments before they reach the plate!
At Eden Green, we are always looking for ways to enhance the dining experience and provide the freshest ingredients possible. Our garden-to-table initiative not only adds fresh flavors to our menus but also creates opportunities for residents to enjoy the beauty of gardening and watch their hard work grow throughout the season.
We can't wait to see what the rest of the summer harvest brings! 🌞🌿

What a wonderful day at Eden Green as we celebrated two very special residents! Please join us in wishing Peggy a happy 88th birthday and Raymond a happy 83rd birthday!
Our residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, birthday wishes, and time spent with friends and loved ones. Moments like these remind us how fortunate we are to celebrate the incredible lives and stories that make our community so special.

Our talented residents spent the afternoon creating beautiful summer wreaths, adding their own personal touches and creativity to each design. Using simple materials and a lot of imagination, they transformed these door hangers into colorful decorations ready to welcome the sunny season!
Activities like these are more than just crafts—they encourage creativity, social connection, and plenty of smiles along the way. We love seeing each resident's unique style shine through in their finished creations.

This Memorial Day, we gathered to recognize and honor the brave men and women who have served our country, including several of our own resident veterans. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication helped protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.
We are proud to celebrate these remarkable individuals and hear the stories, experiences, and lessons they have shared throughout their lives. Their service continues to inspire us and reminds us of the true meaning of patriotism and sacrifice.
To all veterans, and to the families of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, we offer our deepest gratitude and respect.

We were honored to welcome Chad Baker of the Delmarva Chapter 570 Military Order of the Purple Heart for an inspiring and meaningful presentation about our nation's veterans and their service.
The program sparked wonderful conversations as several of our resident veterans shared stories from their military experiences, reflecting on the sacrifices, friendships, and memories that helped shape their lives. These personal stories are treasures that deserve to be heard and remembered.

Surrounded by friends, family, laughter, and of course a delicious birthday cake, Connie's smile lit up the room and reminded us how important it is to celebrate life's special moments together.
