Hope Harbor Counseling is recruiting LPC-Associates and counseling students who are committed to learning how to:

• Write clear, accurate progress notes
• Track treatment goals consistently
• Communicate responsibly across the care team
• Protect continuity, clarity, and quality in client care

Accurate documentation is part of compassionate, ethical stewardship. Each note should help tell the story of a client’s progress, support sound clinical decisions, and honor the responsibility entrusted to us as counselors.

At Hope Harbor Counseling, we believe anger is not the enemy : losing control of it is. Scripture calls us to be "slow to speak, slow to anger" (James 1:19), and clinical research agrees: when we understand our triggers and practice reality-based emotional regulation, we respond with wisdom instead of reacting in the moment.

Our licensed counselors blend evidence-based approaches like CBT with a Christ-centered worldview to help you name your emotions, take a breath before you speak, and break patterns that harm your family and your peace. This isn't about pretending anger doesn't exist : it's about stewarding it well for God's glory and your good.

We are a Christian faith-based practice offering a Christ-centered approach that is bible-based. Under the supervision of Dawn Irons, LPC-S, you will have the opportunity to grow professionally while serving individuals and families in a setting built on safety, trust, and conservative values.

Hope Harbor Counseling is a Christian faith-based practice using a Christ-centered approach that is bible-based. Under the supervision of Dawn Irons, LPC-S, trainees are equipped to provide thoughtful, ethical, clinically excellent care while remaining grounded in faith and sound counseling principles.

We welcome inquiries from graduate counseling students, practicum students, interns, and LPC-Associates connected with Texas Tech, Lubbock Christian University, TTUHSC, Wayland Baptist University, Sul Ross University, Liberty University, West Texas A&M, and Lamar University.
