An experience can feel extremely clear in the moment.

That does not mean every realization needs to become a major life decision the next morning.

Integration can create useful distance between insight and action.

Write it down. Sit with it. Bring it into therapy when appropriate. Talk with your facilitator. Notice what still feels important after the intensity has passed. Let different interpretations coexist for a while.

Sometimes the wisest next step is not doing more.

It is allowing enough time for the experience to become part of a larger picture.

Natural medicine does not need to create urgency to be meaningful.

Psychedelic research is becoming more serious. Our language should become more precise with it.

Psilocybin drug-development programs have progressed into late-stage clinical research, while the FDA has also finalized guidance specifically addressing psychedelic-drug clinical investigations.

That is meaningful progress. It is not permission to turn promising research into guaranteed outcomes.

Colorado's regulated natural medicine system is also not the same thing as an FDA-approved medical treatment pathway.

Those distinctions matter.

The field gains credibility when we can be excited about research without overstating what it proves, and when we can explain different models of access without blurring them together.

On journey day, your attention should not be divided between the client and a dozen preventable operational details.

The room needs to be ready. The center needs to be functioning. Client arrival needs to make sense. Supplies, setup, breakdown, facility procedures, and the practical rhythm around a full day should already have a system behind them.
