Our office is pleased to announce that we now offer SPRAVATO® (esketamine) CIII nasal spray, a prescription treatment from Johnson & Johnson for certain adults with depression when other antidepressant treatments have not provided enough relief.
Could SPRAVATO® Be Right for You?
SPRAVATO® may be an option for adults with treatment-resistant depression, including those who have tried two or more oral antidepressants without adequate improvement. A member of our clinical team can help determine whether this treatment is appropriate for your needs.
What to Expect:
• SPRAVATO® is a nasal spray that is self-administered under the supervision of a healthcare provider.
• Treatment takes place in our office in a monitored setting.
• After each dose, you will be observed by our clinical team for at least two hours.
• You will need someone to drive you home after treatment.
Important Safety Information
SPRAVATO® is available only through a restricted safety program called the SPRAVATO® REMS. It may cause sedation, dissociation, breathing problems, increased blood pressure, and has potential for abuse or misuse. SPRAVATO® is not approved for children and is not a substitute for emergency care or hospitalization when needed.
