Still processing this past week in Honduras with the Touching Hands team!
I have wanted to be part of this mission since first hearing Dr. Scott Kozin speak about the Touching Hands Project as the ASSH President in 2014. It had such an impact on me that I even wrote about it in my personal statement for hand fellowship applications. That moment solidified my desire to become a pediatric hand surgeon. This past week, I had the privilege of finally being part of that mission. 🙏🏽
This trip was a powerful reminder of why I chose this path in the first place.
