🌸 Many Flowers, One Garden — Celebrating the Beauty of Our Differences 🌸

One humanity. Many beautiful expressions of the Divine.

Just as a garden is made more beautiful by the diversity of its flowers, our world is enriched by the uniqueness of every individual.

This Sunday at Unity on the Avenue, we explored the transformative power of inclusion, diversity, equity, and acceptance—and how Unity's spiritual principles invite us to see the Divine in every person.

In recognition of LGBTQ History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, and National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we reflected on the importance of creating a world where everyone is seen, valued, respected, and welcomed.

Through heartfelt personal stories and practical spiritual wisdom, we were reminded that acceptance is more than simply tolerating our differences. It is celebrating them, listening with compassion, standing together in love, and recognizing that we all belong in God's magnificent garden of humanity.

And perhaps the most important lesson of all: The love and acceptance we extend to others must also begin within ourselves.

💜 We invite you to watch this inspiring Sunday message and reflect on a simple but powerful question:

What would our world look like if we truly recognized the Divine in everyone we meet?

✨ The Sacred Path of Service ✨

What if service is more than something we do for others?

What if it is one of the ways we awaken to who we truly are?

This Sunday at Unity on the Avenue, we explored the sacred path of service through the lives and teachings of Mother Cabrini, Albert Schweitzer, Jesus, and the modern vision of servant leadership offered by Robert Greenleaf.

Again and again, we discover the same spiritual truth: when we serve with an open heart, something happens not only to those we serve—something happens within us.

A simple act can become sacred when we bring intention to it. Listening deeply. Feeding someone who is hungry. Welcoming a stranger. Caring for a neighbor. Creating something with love. Offering our time, our presence, or simply our compassion.

Service doesn't require us to be saints or spiritual masters. It asks us to be present.

And perhaps the question isn't simply, “What am I doing?”

Perhaps the deeper question is:

“What love am I bringing to what I am doing?”

When we recognize the Divine within ourselves and within the person before us, service becomes more than an act of kindness. It becomes a spiritual practice—a way of awakening, connecting, and helping create the kind of world we want to live in.

💜 How are you serving—and how are you leading—in your life?

We invite you to watch Sunday's message and join us as we continue exploring what it means to live from love, compassion, connection, and spiritual awareness.

🐾 All Creatures Big and Small 🐾
This Sunday at Unity on the Avenue, our guest speaker Penny Ware invited us to see the animals who share our world—and our lives—with new eyes.
From the pets who somehow know when we need comfort, to the creatures of the wild who help sustain the delicate balance of our planet, Penny reminded us that all life is interconnected. Animals can be companions, teachers, healers, and beautiful expressions of the Divine.
Sharing the touching story of her beloved dog Jax, Penny reflected on the extraordinary love our animals give us—the quiet presence beside us when we hurt, the joy they bring when our spirits are low, and the way their uncomplicated presence can call us back into the present moment.
Perhaps one of their greatest spiritual lessons is also one of the simplest:
Be here. Love completely. Find joy in the moment. And remember that you belong to something larger than yourself.
As Penny reminded us, our relationship with animals also asks something of us: compassion, stewardship, and a willingness to care for the beautiful web of life we all share.
We invite you to watch this very special Sunday service and celebrate all creatures, big and small. ❤️🐾
