Can you keep exercising during pregnancy? For many people, the answer is yes.

For healthy pregnancies, ACOG recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity each week. Walking, swimming and modified prenatal yoga are among the activities that may be good options.

Every pregnancy is different, so talk with your OB/GYN or midwife about the activities that are right for you.

Our patients deliver at HCA HealthONE Rose, recently named one of America’s Best Maternity Hospitals 2026 by Newsweek. We’re grateful to work alongside a nationally recognized team dedicated to giving parents and babies a safe, supportive and special start together.

HCA HealthONE Rose has been named to Newsweek's list of America's Best Maternity Hospitals 2026.

🤱New baby, new routines…and approximately 47 new things to worry about. 🤱

In recognition of World Breastfeeding Week and National Breastfeeding Month, here’s an important reminder: Stress can sometimes interfere with milk let-down, but worrying about your supply can add even more stress to the mix.

Creating a comfortable place to nurse, staying hydrated, resting when you can and asking others for help can all make a difference. And if you have concerns, you don’t have to figure them out alone. Your OB/GYN, midwife or lactation consultant can help.
