Here's something you might not know about me. Chiropractic changed the course of my life in 1996 and this is a big reason why I'm committed to paying it forward today. Growing up, I was an active teenager who loved sports. Throughout high school, I spent countless hours on the field, in the gym and pushing my body to its limits.
Outside of athletics, I also worked physically demanding manual labor jobs that required heavy lifting, repetitive movements, and long hours on my feet.
At first, I thought the aches and pains were simply part of being active. But over time, the strain on my body began to take its toll. What started as occasional discomfort turned into severe low back pain that affected nearly every aspect of my life.
There were days when getting out of bed was a challenge.
Simple activities that most teenagers take for granted (playing sports with friends, going on hikes, exercising, or even sitting comfortably through a movie) became difficult.
As a teenager, it was frustrating and discouraging.
Instead of enjoying some of the best years of my life, I found myself constantly worrying about my back pain. I felt limited, exhausted, and disconnected from the activities I loved. The pain wasn't just physical. It affected my mood, confidence, and overall quality of life.
Everything changed when I was introduced to chiropractic care. Initially, I was skeptical, but I was willing to try anything that might help. After my first few treatments, I began noticing improvements. My mobility increased, my pain started to decrease, and for the first time in a long time, I felt hopeful.
As I continued with care, the debilitating back pain that had controlled my life gradually faded away.
Chiropractic care gave me something I thought I had lost: the ability to enjoy life again. I was able to return to the activities I loved, move without constant discomfort, and feel like myself again. Experiencing that transformation firsthand had a profound impact on me.
I became fascinated by the body's ability to heal and the role chiropractic care played in that process. More importantly, I realized that there were countless others facing the same struggles I had endured. I knew I wanted to help people who felt trapped by pain, just as I once had.
That experience ultimately inspired me to pursue a career in chiropractic. Today, my passion comes from understanding what my patients are going through because I've lived it myself. I know how debilitating pain can be, and I know how life-changing it can feel to finally find relief.
My goal is to help every patient regain their health, restore their mobility, and get back to doing the things they love most.
Becoming a chiropractor wasn't simply a career choice—it was the result of a personal journey from pain to healing, and a desire to help others experience that same transformation.
This brings me to a special invitation.
Conditions like headaches, neck pain, numbness, low back pain, and sciatica are the body’s way of saying something is wrong. If left untreated they can lead to chronic and severe pain.
