Kids' nervous systems are still developing — and they carry so much more than we realize.
1. Trouble falling asleep/Staying asleep
2. Big emotions that feel out of proportion or can’t shift and move on
3. Frequent ear infections, constipation or belly aches.
Birth itself. Falls. Illnesses. Big emotions. School transitions. Screen time. Being told to "sit still" all day when their bodies were designed to move.
All of it registers in the nervous system.
When kids' nervous systems get overwhelmed and stay overwhelmed, we see it show up as: trouble sleeping, big emotional reactions, digestive issues, recurring ear infections, focus challenges, and the tension that shows up in tight little bodies that shouldn't be tight yet.
The work I do with kids is nothing like adult chiropractic. No forceful adjustments. No cracking. Just light, specific contacts along the spine to help their nervous system regulate — so their body can do what it's designed to do: rest, digest, connect, grow.
Most parents are surprised at how calm and gentle it is. Kids often fall asleep during the session. Some ask when they can come back.
If you're a parent watching your child struggle with something that feels bigger than "just being a kid" — you're probably right. And there's real support available.
