👀 Let’s talk under eyes.
Mine are very dark and always have been. Concealer and color corrector are my besties, skincare is my jam, and yes — I’ve done the allergy testing, the elimination diets, and begged my ancestors for relief. Genetics won. 😢
I’m almost 47 and it’s time for these bags to hit the road. It is time, friends, for an intervention.
✨Oh, and my opinion as a holistic esthetician about injectables and other esthetic interventions? Do whatever the hell makes you feel good, confident and most like yourself. Just PLEASE educate yourself first. 🙏🏼
🤦🏻♀️ My journey began with a consultation at a Plastic Surgeon’s office. He recommended a lower bleph (lower eyelid lift) — $10K, months and months of recovery. I shook his hand and said no thank you. (Nothing wrong with surgery if it’s right for you — it just didn’t feel good to me!)
That’s when I learned more about bio stimulators from 🙌 These methods use your own biology, like your plasma or other growth factors to stimulate new collagen production and tissue regeneration. No filler, no botox, just your own biology being nudged in the right direction. Learning about bio stimulators has made me very excited for the future of Esthetics. Our bodies know how to heal and repair, sometimes they just need to be reminded. ✨
💉The solution that these injectables offer? Regenerate tissue, make new collagen, protect the integrity of the skin and do it as naturally as possible.
I WAS IN!!! 🙋🏻♀️
So, yesterday I received my first PDGF under-eye injections with and I am really excited to share the full journey with you!
📸 These photos were all taken without makeup (and now they’re on the internet!! 😱) before my appointment.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ is a Registered Nurse and Esthetic Injector at her practice, Undone Aesthetics- a gorgeous holistic beauty space in Wash Park.
Results build gradually over 3-12 weeks, then I will receive a second round of injections. I’ll be documenting here for you — the good, the swollen, and (hopefully) the glowing.
