PEDAL FIT Physio

PEDAL FIT Physio We are the first of its kind independent Physical Therapy Bike Fitting Studio in the Colorado Front Range. Offering performance and medical bike fitting.

Pedal Fit LLC is designed on the premise that cycling should not hurt and if it does it should be remedied by a musculoskeletal and biomechanics professional. Pedal Fit LLC is one of the few bike fit and performance companies in the country designed and conducted by a doctor of physical therapy, Natalie Collins, PT, DPT, BikePT. Natalie realizes that the traditional rehabilitation model can feel

boring as though it neglects performance based principles. Therefore, she has designed an approach to maximize cycling performance, resolve pain, reduce unnecessary injuries and destroy personal goals. Bike fits take time, therefore, resources should be optimized. Natalie does not simply plug numbers into a formula. She uses her background in physical therapy and exercise science to assess each rider’s unique movement patterns, dysfunction, and pain, if present. She combines this with the results of a comprehensive physical examination to adjust the rider’s bike to their natural abilities. All while considering the bike industries current trends. She then provides self treatment techniques, cycling based exercises and effective training program development. As well as pedaling skills, slow motion video analysis and biomechanics assessment. We all have personal goals, whether it is to improve your mental health or finish in 7 hours at the Leadville 100. Achieving these goals should be positive for our health. With health care costs increasing, it is important to avoid unnecessary injury. Don't let a poorly fit bike or training program cost you in the long run. Ashely’s tenure as an elite bike racer, extensive bike fitting educational experiences, and expertise as a Doctor of Physical Therapy position her for success in helping folks find as much joy as possible while riding.
