We are excited to announce the newest member of the Pedal Fit team, Ashley King, PT, DPT and professional bike fitter. Ashley’s schedule is live and she is accepting clients for Performance Bike Fittings at our Denver location
Meet Ashley King, Doctor of Physical Therapy, who is passionate about helping the cycling community find comfort and success on the bike. Ashley’s experience goes far beyond her knowledge of proper body mechanics and injury prevention. As an elite road bike racer, and professional cycling coach, her first hand experiences help her appreciate the unique physical demands of the sport. Her comprehensive knowledge physio bike fitting studio and time on two wheels provide her a unique perspective to help elite cyclists and recreational riders.
Ashley's professional and cycling journeys both started as an undergraduate student at Indiana University, where she graduated with a bachelors in Psychology. She initially fell in love with bike racing at IU while competing in the Little 500. Since that time she has been hooked on racing and continues to rise through the ranks of USA cycling. You can currently find her competing in National level cycling events such as: Littleton Twilight Criterium, Tour of America's Dairyland, Intelligentsia Cup, and The Gateway Cup.
Her professional journey continued once she moved to Colorado to attend the Doctoral Physical Therapy program at Regis University, where she graduated in 2018.
Since graduating, Ashley has continued to grow her professional orthopedic and biomechanics skill set. Her approach is highly personalized and tailored to each individual, taking into account their comprehensive orthopedic needs, riding style, and goals. Ashley's ever expanding bike fitting experience catalyzed during a 12 month intensive one-on-one mentorship with Natalie Collins of Pedal Fit.
Ashely’s tenure as an elite bike racer, extensive bike fitting educational experiences, and expertise as a Doctor of Physical Therapy position her for success in helping folks find as much joy as possible while riding.
