Still working from home? Struggling with aches and pain from poor posture? Here are a few tips that may help:
1. Make sure you are moving throughout the day; try setting a reminder for once every hour, and take a walk at lunch if you are able.
2. If space allows, set up a standing workstation. You can achieve this by stacking a few books or a box on a counter and setting your computer on top of this.
3. Try to elevate your screen (with books or other stable items) so it is level with your eyes. If you have a separate keyboard and mouse, make sure these are at a height where your elbows are at roughly 90 degree angles and your forearms parallel to the floor.
This video has other ideas and offers nice visuals of how to achieve a more comfortable workstation at home: https://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-52642895?ns_mchannel=social&ns_source=twitter&ns_campaign=bbc_live&ns_linkname=5ebb56a76b7a9b06537a6a75%26The%20(back)%20pains%20of%20working%20from%20home%262020-05-13T02%3A22%3A32%2B00%3A00&ns_fee=0&pinned_post_locator=urn:asset:e8d9ccf2-483d-4be6-9623-a41e4d37138f&pinned_post_asset_id=5ebb56a76b7a9b06537a6a75&pinned_post_type=share

We are excited to announce that, as of tomorrow, 5/18/2020, we will be gradually starting to see patients in-office once more! A few things to bear in mind as we transition:
1. Everyone entering the office is required to wear a mask.
2. Temperatures will be taken on each person entering the office, and anyone with a fever of 100.4 F or higher will be rescheduled.
3. The office door will be locked, and check-in times staggered. Patients should ring the doorbell when they arrive, and a team member will come out to screen and provide further instruction.
4. Check-out will occur in the exam rooms, and patients will exit through a dedicated door.
For additional information, please visit the Coronavirus Announcement and Updates page on our website, or call the office. Thank you for being a valued part of our practice and for your patience and understanding as we work together in these unprecedented times.

Many of us are still staying home more than we did prior to this whole COVID-19 situation. With that, you may still be trying to come up with nutritious and delicious meals and snacks. Some ideas from Dominique include mixes of nuts, seeds, and dried fruits (think trail mix with all your favorites!), nut butter on pieces of fruit, veggies or rice cakes, or smoothies with any mix of fruits, juice, water or yogurt.
