🎣🐟 Meet Mr. Doolie…now affectionately known as Catfish.

This adventurous feline decided to test his fishing skills a little too literally and ended up with two fish hooks attached to him! One hook was stuck in his paw, while the second was thankfully only tangled in his fur.

After a visit to Denver Animal Emergency, Mr. Doolie was safely freed from his unexpected catch and is doing well. 🫶🏼 Wishing Mr. Doolie (aka Catfish) a speedy recovery and many future adventures that don’t involve emergency hook removal. 😹🎣💜

Celebrating 10 Years of Denver Animal Emergency! ❤️🐾🩺 Today marks a milestone we are incredibly proud of! 10 years of serving our community and caring for the pets you love.

Reaching this anniversary has taken dedication, perseverance, and plenty of blood, sweat, and tears. Through it all, our mission has remained the same: to provide exceptional emergency care when pets and their families need us most. Over the past decade, we have cared for thousands of animals, celebrated recoveries, comforted families during difficult moments, and helped many say goodbye to cherished companions with compassion and dignity. This achievement would not be possible without our amazing team members (past and present) and the trust our community has placed in us. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your pets’ lives and for choosing us during some of your most important moments. We are honored to have served this community for the last 10 years and are excited for what the future holds.

Sometimes the best medicine comes with a hug. Caymus came to Denver Animal Emergency this weekend for lethargy and not being herself. Her final treatment while here was some fluids and she made sure to get in extra snuggles while she got them! 🫶🏼

Not your everyday ER case…but when it’s urgent, we show up. 🐐💪 This sweet mama goat (something we don’t routinely see in our hospital) came to us on an emergency basis needing a C-section. Thanks to a skilled, adaptable team and quick decision-making, we were able to step in and provide the care she needed. Mom is recovering, and her tiny kid is already stealing hearts. 💕

Not every ER visit is all serious faces and Boozer made sure we remembered that! This playful pup brought a little extra joy to our weekend at Denver Animal Emergency. We don’t always get the chance to see our patients feeling this good, so moments like this are extra special. Thanks for the smiles, Boozer! We loved having you hang with us. 🤩🐾🫶🏼

They are the first voice you hear, the steady presence in stressful moments, and the ones who keep everything moving behind the scenes. They handle the hard conversations, the emotional ones, and the everyday chaos with compassion and professionalism. 🫶🏼🐾❤️

We truly could not do what we do without them.

This sweet girl learned the hard way that not everything is a snack. She managed to swallow something she shouldn’t have, but the good news is:
✔️ She safely passed the hair clip on her own
✔️ She’s already eating and feeling much better
✔️ No surgery needed…just careful monitoring and care 🫶🏼

Foreign body ingestions are one of the most common emergencies we see, especially in curious puppies. If your pet swallows something questionable, don’t wait! Early evaluations can make all the difference.

We’re so happy this girlie is back to doing what puppies do best: being adorable!
