This is a really simple message – so important we've turned it into stickers!

Your pelvic floor plays a vital role in supporting your body. It helps support your bladder, bowel and reproductive organs, and contributes to strength, stability and movement.

At N2, we're passionate about helping people access the support they need to feel comfortable, confident and strong.

If you're experiencing pain, discomfort, pressure, leaking, or other pelvic health concerns, please don't assume it's something you simply have to live with.

Many of the issues people think are "just part of life" can often be improved, managed or resolved with the right treatment and support.

You don't have to put up with it.

The surprising link between your jaw and pelvic floor!

Your jaw and your pelvic floor are more connected than you might think. Aly explains how they’re often described as “bookends” of the body, linked through fascial connections that develop early on.

That means tension, holding, or restriction in one area can sometimes show up in the other.

At N2 Physical Therapy, this is why we take a whole-body approach, looking beyond one area to understand how everything is working together.

If this resonates with you get in touch - https://n2physicaltherapy.com/

What’s the difference between dry needling and acupuncture?

While both use very fine needles, dry needling is a muscle-focused technique used in physical therapy. It targets specific areas in the muscle to help with pain, movement, and how muscles are activating.

At N2 Physical Therapy, it’s always part of a bigger picture.

Because care isn’t just about one symptom, it’s about how your whole body is functioning. That might include movement, nervous system support, stress, and overall wellbeing. Many people come to us for things like bladder and bowel concerns, pelvic floor issues, hip or lower back pain, and we look at how it’s all connected.

Curious if this approach could support you? Links in bio.

“The best my hip has felt in years.”

That’s the kind of feedback Deena and the team hear after dry needling. and why it’s such a valuable part of care at N2 Physical Therapy.

Dry needling is used to treat myofascial trigger points — areas in the muscle that can contribute to pain, tension, and reduced movement. When delivered by a trained physical therapist, it can be an effective way to support pain relief, especially as part of a broader treatment plan.

At N2, it’s not used in isolation, it’s integrated into a whole-body approach, helping address the underlying causes of pain and support more lasting results.

How many physical therapy sessions will you need?

The honest answer, it depends.

Aly from our Uptown team explains that some people may complete their treatment within 4–6 sessions, while others benefit from care that’s spread out over a longer period of time.

It starts with an initial evaluation, and from there, your plan can evolve as your body responds to treatment.

At N2 Physical Therapy, care is always tailored to you, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Behind every appointment, every session, every moment of care, there’s a person.

In this clip, Hollie talks about something we don’t always say out loud: how important it is to protect provider wellbeing.

In recent years, healthcare professionals have faced increasing pressure, including the impact of negative online spaces and the shift in how care is perceived post-COVID.

At N2 Physical Therapy, creating a supportive environment for our team isn’t optional, it’s essential. Because when providers feel supported, it allows them to show up fully for the people they care for.

This is part of a wider conversation about building sustainable, human-centred healthcare.
