🏆 Blephs and fat are THE BEST. This gorgeous gal shows us just how these can pack a punch đŸ„Š

Blepharoplasties are a favorite for a reason. Recovery is typically gentle (minimal bruising, minimal owies), but the payoff is 💯. Just a quick lil zhuzz and voilà — it’s the first time in years you’ve woken up looking as rested as when you were fresh out of the womb. Your friends will just think holy smokes, they really must have their daily hydration and pre-bedtime meditation game down!!!

Oh, and of course, this cutie also had another office classic, a tiny bit of fat placed in her cheeks. Both of these are such subtle changes you have to stare in to catch it, but BOY they are amazing, right?? A refreshed, youthful plumpness in all the right ways and all the right places.

Teeny tiny pokes. Big time skin science. Your collagen loves a wake up 🔬

This week’s Skin Deep is about microneedling. What is it?! Controlled, literal micro-injuries, sooo small you can’t see them with the naked eye, but your body sure notices. Growth factors, collagen, elastin, all the repair crews we keep talking about, flooding the area on command.

At a medical practice, we control the depth with precision, so one treatment can work on a lot of problems at once. Texture, pore size, dark spots, fine lines, scarring — it rebuilds tissue from the inside out. It’s one of the more budget-friendly ways to give your skin a cute refresh.

Want to double the fun? Combine it with radiofrequency heat (aka Morpheus8) and you get mechanical AND thermal injury at the same time!! Two incredible triggers for luxurious and tighter skin instead of one. Jennifer breaks down exactly how both work.

You could be scrolling this exact cute little post and your muscles could be working out against their will đŸ“ČđŸ’Ș

This week’s Skin Deep digs into EMS (Electro Muscle Stimulation). Think about a bicep curl: normally your brain sends an electrical signal down a nerve to make the muscle contract. EMS skips your brain and sends that signal straight to the muscle. The muscle contraction happens whether you’re involved or not.

We use this technology two ways in our office. Evolve Transform pairs EMS with radiofrequency heat to tone your muscles and tighten your skin at the same time. The second device, VTone, applies EMS specifically to your pelvic floor — it’s the equivalent of 30,000 Kegels in 30 minutes. It’s designed to provide intravaginal EMS and a neuromuscular re-education to rehabilitate weak pelvic floor muscles, and address stress, urge, and mixed urinary incontinence.

Jennifer breaks down how both work in this week’s episode.

Another heartwarming patient note that also brings US to tears!! đŸ«¶

Moms are superheroes, no new news. Your body goes through the ringer, mentally and physically (and I’m NOT just talking about while you’re pregnant). And then with all those new things on your plate — the stress, the sleepless nights, the planning, waking up an hour early just to squeeze in a workout when you’re already running on empty, the tears, and of course all the new levels of love you get to experience. It’s all worth it. BUT what in the heck, after everything you give, why does your body have to be handed over forever too?!

The answer is it doesn’t. Sometimes your body needs a little help getting back to YOU. Mommy makeovers bring us to tears too, and no two look the same, because no two moms are the same. For this beautiful woman, that meant a tummy tuck, breast augmentation, and liposuction. We can’t wait to hand the reins back to your body, whatever that combo looks like for you.

“Injectables” isn’t one treatment. There are three different magical jobs. đŸȘ„

Neurotoxins (aka friends like BOTOX) relax the muscle movement that creates wrinkles in the first place — prevention and correction all in one. Hyaluronic acid fillers replace the hydration and volume your skin naturally loses over time, using a molecule your body already makes. And biostimulators go a step further: they add a little volume AND send your collagen-building cells a signal to get back to work.

Prevent. Replace. Build. Three different tools, and the art is knowing which one you actually need. Chelsi Moore RN, BSN breaks down the full lineup in this week’s Skin Deep.

đŸ”„We interrupt your regularly scheduled series for an absolute stunnerđŸ”„ Don’t worry part 2 of Skin Deep drops tomorrow, but we couldn’t wait on this cutie.

Women are simply EXTRAORDINARY. You hand your body over completely, growing, nourishing, sustaining another human being. And when that chapter closes, it’s completely okay to want to come back to yourself. This beautiful gal was ready for exactly that. A tummy tuck and breast augmentation, a mommy makeover built around her, gave her back a body that felt like hers again. Not a different body. Her body, at its best.

Don’t wait for permission to do something for yourself after everything you give!! 💕

Your skin isn’t just aging. It literally thinks its job is done. ⚰

In your mid-20s, your fibroblasts (the cells that build collagen and elastin) slow way down. Your body decides it’s finished with fresh skin. And at the same time? UV radiation is actively fragmenting what’s already there. Less building, more breakdown. Every year.

But this week Sylvia Vigil, MPAS, PA-C, Plastic Surgery/Aesthetics/Wellness has some good news: you can intervene! There are real, evidence-based ways to signal your body to get back to work. Episode 3 of Skin Deep is all about the cellular slowdown behind aging skin — and two concepts that help us change the equation.

PSA: yes, it is indeed your 20s when some major things start happening to your skin’s biology 📉 đŸ˜«

This ep of Skin Deep is all about the two proteins doing the heavy lifting in your skin and why they matter more than anything you’re lifting at the gym. Think of collagen as the scaffolding that keeps skin firm, and elastin as the bounce that lets it snap back. Both peak early
and both start quietly Irish exiting away in your 20s. After 20, you lose roughly 1% of your collagen EVERY year.

The good news? Once you understand what’s happening, you can actually do something about it. That’s what the this series is for you cuties! New episode every week. Follow along. ☀

It’s okay to try and YES you’re allowed to want to look good and to understand how. Leave your guilt and shame behind y’all đŸ€

We made this series, Skin Deep, so this knowledge belongs to everyone, not just the patients who found us via word of mouth over the last 25+ years. It’s a 10-part series where our medical team breaks down what’s actually true in a loud, trend-obsessed industry: how your skin works, what’s really happening as you age, and the treatments designed to help. No sales pitch, just the stuff we wish everyone knew ☀

New episodes weekly. Follow along.

Six months. No surgery. Just telling your skin to do what it’s always been capable of 😘

Stubborn laxity that survives every workout and diet? This is exactly the kind of thing Thermage is great at. This radiofrequency heat treatment works deep into the skin and lets your body take it from there — producing its own collagen to tighten. The results can be subtle, but that’s the beauty. Just your skin getting back to its own basics.

We’ve been believers leveraging radiofrequency heat tools like Thermage since 2004, and results like this are exactly why. This patient’s after photo was taken six months post-treatment. Spruce up courtesy of one of our cute girlies . Not everything needs to be solved in an operating room. Sometimes your skin just needs the right nudge to get its b***y working.
