Traveling and don’t want to lose all of your progress? ✈️
No worries... you don’t have to! 🎉
But it WILL require some thoughtful planning. 😘
If you’re traveling while trying to lose weight, shed fat, and tone…
OR you want to simply maintain the progress you’ve built...
Here are a few food tips and hacks I always follow: 👇🏼
🥗 Eat a big, beautiful, high-protein, high-fiber, high-volume meal BEFORE you even leave for the airport/road trip. I’m talking a massive salad, loaded with vegetables and lean protein so you show up to that airport (or in your car) already full and unbothered by the overpriced terminal food or the sketchy gas station snacks that may have been calling your name.
💧 Hydrate aggressively earlier in the day before you travel. Not at the airport, not on the plane, but BEFORE you leave (extra credit if you add electrolytes and trace minerals). Your body will thank you.
🧊 Pack your own meals (and freeze some of them) ahead of time. Think sandwiches, cheese sticks, vegetables, fruit, cooked protein, yogurt cups... And yes, you can get them through security frozen. Cold food travels better and the TSA line won’t stop you. Don’t forget a fork! 🍴
🥩 Always pack protein snacks. Think beef jerky, meat sticks, dried edamame for that fiber and crunch, protein bars, and protein powder. Every restaurant meal you’re going to encounter on the road or at the airport is going to be heavy on carbs, fats, and calories, and your job is to balance it out.
⚡ Pack your nutritional powders, electrolytes, probiotics, and fiber supplements. This should be a non-negotiable. These take up almost no space and they keep your body feeling like itself even when everything else is off schedule.
Preparation is the whole game when it comes to traveling and staying on track.
It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it DOES have to be intentional. ✅
