The lips need to belong to the face. My goal is never simply more volume. It s proportion, harmony and a refreshed version of the patient s own features. Immediate result, no significant bruising. In the „before” video, you can see a distinct shadow underneath the lower lip and around the chin area. This shadows and hollows commonly develop due to a combination of natural aging, a gradual loss of deep structural volume, and the repetitive movement of the mentalis muscle. When this area loses support, it creates a downward pull that can make the overall facial expression look tired, sad, or prematurely aged, even when you feel completely vibrant inside.

To address this, the treatment focused on carefully lifting the depressed zones and smoothing out the transition between the lips and the chin. By placing dermal fillers precisely into the areas of volume deficit, the shadow was softly erased. This client received 2 mL of filler total:
💉1 mL in the medial cheek
💉1 mL in the pyriform space — the small area beside the nose where volume loss can contribute to a deeper-looking nasolabial fold and less support through the midface.

By restoring volume where she actually needed it, we improved midface support and, as a result, significantly softened the appearance of her tear trough—without injecting the tear trough itself. I also did not inject her lateral cheeks. She already had beautiful lateral cheek projection, so there was no reason to add volume there.

This is the importance of individualized facial assessment: I don’t inject simply because an area can be injected. I inject what the face needs👌Balanced, rested, refreshed—and still completely natural.
