Earlier this month we welcomed the Denver Health Residency class of 2026-2027! All our new residents are moving quickly through orientation. We are excited to have them for their residency journey!

Congratulations to Dr. Michael Deaney, PharmD, AAHIVP and Dr. Bridger Liston, PharmD for being awarded Preceptor of the Year and RAC Preceptor of the Year.
Preceptor of the year is voted on by the residents to recognize an exceptional clinical preceptor that has made a large impact on their clinical and personal growth.
RAC preceptor of the year is voted on by Residency Program Directors and Pharmacy Administration to recognize a preceptor that provides exceptional support for the residents and program in more of a behind the scenes role.
We are grateful to have both Michael and Bridger as shining pillars of the Denver Health residency programs.

Graduation!! Congratulations to all of our residents for finishing out their residency year strong! We had a great time celebrating our residents and all they have accomplished this year. Completing residency is no small feat and this group has done an amazing job throughout. All of our residents are either pursuing another year of residency or have accepted job opportunities! We are excited to see what the future holds for them!

We recently had an excellent preceptor development session presented by Dr. Aleks Kiernoziak PharmD, BCIDP and Dr. Katie Dionne, PharmD, BCCCP. Effective feedback is an integral part of any learning environment, especially during residency. Preceptors worked through a variety of feedback delivery methods, considerations, and strategies to provide a nourishing learning environment for our residents.
