When lower back pain keeps coming back, it's easy to focus on your spine, posture, or core strength. But did you know your pelvic floor could also be part of the picture?

Your pelvic floor, core, and back muscles work together to support your body throughout the day. When they're not working together effectively, you may experience symptoms you wouldn't necessarily think are connected.

In our newest blog, we're breaking down:

✔️ The surprising connection between back pain and pelvic floor dysfunction
✔️ Signs your pelvic floor may be contributing to your discomfort
✔️ Why more core exercises or Kegels aren't always the answer
✔️ How a whole body approach to physical therapy can help

At Klein Physical Therapy, we believe in looking at the whole body, not just where it hurts.

Curious if your pelvic floor could be playing a role in your back pain? Read our latest blog to learn more!

Do you need pelvic floor therapy during pregnancy... even if you’re not having symptoms?

Our newest blog answers this common question and explains how pelvic floor physical therapy can support you throughout pregnancy and into postpartum recovery.

Pelvic floor therapy during pregnancy may help with concerns like:
✨ Urinary leaking
✨ Pelvic pressure or heaviness
✨ Back or pelvic pain
✨ Pain with in*******se
✨ Discomfort with exercise

But you don’t have to wait for symptoms to get support. Pelvic floor PT can also help you understand your changing body, modify exercise, prepare for labor and delivery, and create a plan for postpartum recovery.

In the blog, we also share more about our Perinatal Wellness Package, which includes 8 one on one visits designed to support you as your needs change throughout pregnancy and postpartum.

Every pregnancy is different. Your care should be, too.

Read our new blog, “Do I Need Pelvic Floor Therapy During Pregnancy?” and learn how personalized, evidence based pelvic health care can support you during this season: https://www.kleinphysicaltherapy.com/blog/pelvic-floor-therapy-during-pregnancy

🧡 Did you know pelvic floor physical therapy isn’t just for adults?

Children can experience pelvic floor concerns too, including constipation, bedwetting, urinary urgency, accidents, and stool withholding. When these symptoms persist, pediatric pelvic floor physical therapy may be able to help.

In our newest blog post, “Does My Child Need Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy?”, we explain signs to look for, why bowel and bladder concerns can happen, and what families can expect from pediatric pelvic floor PT.

Our goal is to help children feel comfortable and confident in their bodies while giving parents practical tools to support them along the way.

Why is Klein Physical Therapy a cash pay practice?

In our newest blog, we share why we chose this model, how one on one, hour long appointments can lead to more personalized care, and why using insurance isn’t always the most affordable option.

You’ll also learn how deductibles and out-of-network benefits may affect your cost of care.

Pelvic pain that doesn't have a clear explanation is frustrating, especially when you've been told everything "looks normal."

One thing that doesn't come up enough in those conversations: lichen sclerosus. It's a chronic skin condition that affects the vulvar area, and it's more common than most people realize. Left unaddressed, it can also lead to muscle tension and pelvic pain that lingers even when the skin itself feels calmer.

We wrote a new blog post breaking down what LS is, how it connects to pelvic pain, and where pelvic floor PT fits into the bigger picture.

If any of this sounds familiar, you're not imagining it, and you don't have to keep guessing.
