Pain prevents sleep
Fatigue prevents movement
Lack of movement increases pain
Pain prevents sleep
Repeat forever
This is the inflammation triad trap

You’re trapped in the cruelest catch-22: your back pain keeps you from sleeping deeply, which leaves you exhausted, which means you can’t exercise, which increases stiffness and pain, which prevents sleep even more.

Meanwhile, the inflammation triad is running wild: poor sleep increases cortisol (stress hormone), elevated cortisol drives inflammation throughout your body

inflammation sensitizes your nervous system to pain, pain disrupts sleep quality…

round and round in a vicious cycle that gets worse every day you don’t interrupt it.

Your body NEEDS deep sleep to heal and reduce inflammation.

Your nervous system NEEDS movement to stay healthy.

But the cycle has you trapped where you can’t do either effectively.

Breaking free requires addressing all three components simultaneously: calming the stress response, reducing systemic inflammation, and resetting pain pathways.

That’s when the cycle finally breaks.

DM “CYCLE” to learn how to break free and finally rest AND move again.

Cancel on your kids… again
Disappoint your partner… again
Miss work deadlines… again
Let down your friends… again

The guilt is crushing

But it’s not your fault

The guilt might hurt more than the pain itself.

You promised your kids you’d take them to the park, but now you’re lying on the couch while they watch TV, disappointed again.

Your partner planned a date night that you have to cancel.

Your work project is delayed because you couldn’t focus through the pain.

Your friend’s birthday dinner happens without you.

The guilt spiral is crushing: you feel like a bad mom, a disappointing partner, an unreliable employee, a flaky friend.

You apologize constantly. You feel like a burden.

You wonder if everyone would be better off without your limitations holding them back.

But here’s the truth that nobody’s telling you:

this is NOT your fault. You didn’t choose nervous system dysfunction. You didn’t ask for the inflammation triad. You’re not being lazy or weak or dramatic.

Your body is stuck in a physiological pattern that’s hijacking your life and relationships.

The guilt you feel is actually making everything worse – guilt creates stress, stress dysregulates your nervous system further, that creates more inflammation and pain, which leads to more disappointments and more guilt.

You deserve compassion, not guilt. You deserve support, not shame.

DM -FORGIVENESS– let’s address the cause so you can stop apologizing for symptoms.

Pain has been there so long
You forgot what ‘normal’ feels like
Can’t remember the last pain-free day
This has become your identity
But it doesn’t have to be
You can find yourself again

Someone asks you “when did the pain start?” and you genuinely can’t remember anymore.

It’s been so long that you’ve forgotten what it feels like to wake up without immediately assessing your pain level.

You can’t remember what it was like to move freely without calculation.

The last time you felt truly comfortable in your body feels like a distant dream – maybe it never existed?

Pain has been your constant companion for so long that it’s become part of your identity.

You introduce yourself with it:
“Yeah my back thing”
“my digestion is is the wrost “

You plan your life around it. You make decisions based on it.

It’s the lens through which you see every opportunity and possibility.

But here’s what I need you to hear: just because something has been true for a long time doesn’t mean it has to stay true forever.

The inflammation triad can be active for years or decades, but it can also be broken at any point.

Your brain has neuroplasticity – the ability to rewire and unlearn these pain patterns regardless of how long they’ve been there.

That pain-free version of you isn’t gone. She’s just buried under years of nervous system dysfunction.

When we address the root cause, she comes back.

DM “REMEMBER” – it’s never too late to find yourself again.
