At Blue Light, we’re passionate about providing meaningful, individualized care to the children and families we serve while also creating a workplace where our team feels supported, valued, and excited to come to work. ✨Help us bring our new themed rooms to life! ✨
We’re working on creating specialty rooms at Blue Light to give our kiddos even more opportunities to learn, play, explore, and grow! 🩵

Some of the spaces we’re creating include:
🫧 Sensory Room – sensory toys, calming items, lights, swings
🏃 Gross Motor Room – movement, climbing, jumping/active play
👗 Dress-Up & Pretend Play Room – costumes, play kitchen items, dolls, pretend tools, imaginative play
🚗 Transportation Room – cars, trucks, trains, tracks & road-themed toys
🎨 Creative Play Room – art supplies, building toys, manipulatives & hands-on activities

We would love the community’s help filling these rooms! If you have new or gently used toys, play materials, sensory items, dress-up clothes, pretend-play sets, or other items that would fit one of our themed spaces, we would be so grateful for your donation. Please message us to arrange drop off or bring to Blue Light during business hours. Thank you! 🩵

💦☀️ Splash Pad Day was one for the books! ☀️💦

There’s nothing better than seeing our kids laugh, play, and make memories together in a space where everyone feels welcome.

A huge thank you to the City of DeQuincy for providing a dedicated splash pad time just for children with special needs. Your kindness, inclusion, and support mean more than words can express to our families and our community. Creating opportunities like this allows our children to enjoy experiences at their own pace while making lasting summer memories.

Thank you for helping make DeQuincy a place where every child belongs. We can’t wait to come back! 💙🌈
