🍂 Leaf piles, hayrides and pumpkin patches are fall favorites, and ticks love them too. Adult deer ticks stay active well into the cooler months, so tick checks shouldn’t end when summer does.

After time outdoors:
✔ Check everyone, including kids and pets, especially behind the ears, along the hairline, and behind the knees
✔ Remove ticks promptly with fine-tipped tweezers
✔ Watch for a rash, fever, or flu-like symptoms in the weeks that follow
