Beware of healthcare/wellness practitioners or online companies promoting "Peptide Therapies" for weight loss. They might be listed as "research" formulas. These are becoming more widespread and they are selling unapproved drugs that resemble approved GLP-1 agonists. Work with your established primary healthcare provider or in-person specialist who is licensed to prescribe approved medications.

With all the viral illnesses floating around, remember your vitamin D supplements, and high vitamin A foods (carrots, squash, spinach in soups), and good hydration. This cold weather means super dry air indoors which irritates coughs and sore throats and spreads infections even more- get a simple humidifier and a cheap humidity monitor if you can. Aim for 40%; that helps to inactivate ambient viruses and soothes inflamed respiratory airways. Wearing a mask when you are crammed in public places with other people is like wearing your own personal humidifier- helps to moisturize and protect your airways from infection by keeping the mucus barrier intact!

More fruits, veggies, and garlic, and less meat makes men smell more attractive to women...forget evidence for protecting from heart disease, diabetes, and a lot of other chronic diseases, this is the type of research that truly motivates! :)

Garlic, alcohol, meat and even fasting can affect our body odour – and alter how appealing our scent is to others.

There's an app for that? If you have a baby under 6 months old, you can download "PoopMD" for iPhones and iPads or "PoopMD+" for Android directly from CNET (I do not see it in the Google Play store). It was developed by Dr. Douglas Mogul, an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and can help you identify whether there can be digestive problems based on a picture of your baby's stool.
