The more you know 👀

Your muscles don’t always feel “tight” because they need more pressure.

Sometimes that tight feeling is your body guarding.

When your nervous system perceives stress, pain, instability, or threat, muscles can stay partially contracted as a protective response. That’s one reason digging harder isn’t always the answer.

Sometimes the better move is slower pressure, sustained contact, breath, movement, and giving the body enough time to realize it can soften.

That’s why two people can have the exact same “tight shoulders” and need completely different treatment.

Massage isn’t just about smashing knots.
It’s about listening to what the tissue is telling you.

My little set up at HOTWORX this week. I will hopefully be setting up there again next month so if you are a part of the Ingersoll location, definitely come by for a tip only ten min 🥰

I absolutely loved trying a free session. The infrared sauna was exactly what I needed. Usually I can handle an hour long yoga session but this totally kicked my butt! I definitely will be joining this location! They have a great workout area that runs circuits so you don’t have to wonder if you’re using the equipment right there’s a video on it!!

With that being said, I’m opening up my morning tomorrow and tacking on an extra hour for a
60 min 10 am & 12:30pm. 🥳💃😎 let’s get the weekend started and kiss this rain goodbye 👋 ☀️
