This month, the Iowa Association of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IAIECMH) is excited to welcome Niki Kredit to our Board of Directors!

Niki is a registered nurse who began her career as a staff nurse before transitioning to public health to better serve mothers, babies, and families in her community. For the past 25 years, she has worked as a home visitor and community health nurse with a focus on maternal and child health, attachment, and breastfeeding support.

Niki's passion for infant and early childhood mental health has continued to grow throughout her career. She is dedicated to promoting the mental health and well-being of families with young children, empowering caregivers to understand and advocate for their children, and modeling the parallel process in her work with families.

Her experience includes supporting adoptive and foster families, kinship caregivers, and co-parenting families. She also brings expertise as a Circle of Security Parenting™ facilitator, helping caregivers build secure, nurturing relationships with the children in their care.

Please join us in giving Niki a warm welcome to the IAIECMH Board of Directors! We are grateful for the experience, compassion, and leadership she brings to our organization.
