The Iowa PCA is hosting free Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) for law enforcement and first responders, facilitated by SolutionPoint +, LLC. This five-day, in-person training is designed to strengthen skills in responding to behavioral health crises through practical, treatment-focused approaches.

Upcoming trainings:
📍 June 15–19 | Council Bluffs
📍 June 22–26 | Waukee

Participants will take part in realistic scenarios that build confidence and hands-on experience in de-escalation and crisis response.

The Iowa Primary Care Association has been selected by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services Iowa Department of Health and Human Services to serve as the statewide Communities of Care Technical Assistance Provider as part of Iowa's Rural Health Transformation Project and the Healthy Hometowns initiative.
