Dr. Alex Van Wyk is a Des Moines Chiropractic Physician and Diplomate in Acupuncture with more than 30 years experience in alternative health care. He is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and has completed extensive postgraduate training in acupuncture and nutrition. Dr. Van Wyk has been serving the Des Moines area for over 25 years. Dr. Van Wyk is nationally board certified in acupunct

ure by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Born and raised in central Iowa, he holds true to Midwestern values. He is a third generation chiropractic physician, following his father and great uncle in the chiropractic profession. Dr Alex recently attended the Oshkosh EAA Air venture event and was privileged to meet Joseph Peterburs, a famous WWII fighter pilot. He was most well known and remembered for flying a P51 Mustang and shooting down a technically superior German jet flown by Walter Schuck. Mr. Peterburs served in WWII, the Korean war, and the Vietnam war. At 101 years young, he continues to get out and about. So awesome to meet such a dedicated servant to our country!
