At Optimae, we believe conversations about mental health matter. 🙌

Our administrator, Ashley, is courageously sharing her personal journey with postpartum depression to help break the stigma and remind others they are not alone.

Too many parents suffer in silence, and honest stories like hers can open the door to support, understanding, and healing. By talking openly about postpartum depression, we create space for compassion, education, and hope for families in our communities.

Ashley, our Administrator, recently traveled to Washington, D.C. with NARA - The National Association of Rehabilitation Providers & Agencies to meet with Iowa members of Congress and advocate for the future of healthcare services. Discussions focused on protecting access to care through fair reimbursement, strengthening the healthcare workforce, and expanding telehealth services to better serve individuals and families across our communities.

At Optimae LifeServices, we believe quality healthcare starts with strong advocacy and bold leadership. By having a voice at the national level, we can continue advancing the services we provide while being at the side and on the side of the professionals who make compassionate, life-changing care possible every day. 💜

Our wonderful occupational therapist, Haylee, spent her Friday empowering the next generation of healthcare heroes! She led a Mental Health First Aid training for students in the Drake University Occupational Therapy Department and nursing department!🩺

Just like CPR, Mental Health First Aid provides the skills needed to support someone in a crisis. We are so proud of Haylee for sharing her expertise to help build a more supportive, informed community! 🙌
